We have 3 full teams and a football Academy running at the club this season. Under 12's and Under 13's are currently in the Stockport Metropolitan Junior Football League and Under 14's in the East Manchester Junior Football League.

The Academy we have running at Stockport Lads Club is for anyone in reception school year and up to learn and start to gain an understanding of all aspects of the game from practical skills like passing, dribbling, shooting as well as learning the basic rules and principles of the game all in a non-competitive environment. It's a foundational stepping stone for the youngsters to progress through the years as they grow older and move to the established leagues to start using their skills against other teams. It's a great way for the small groups to grow together.

Currently, although there is no full league team for Under 9's, there is a training session run at Stockport Lads Club to get players learning together and hopefully progress into the league in the 2026/27 season if there is enough interest. Training sessions are run by Asa Hough and take place on Mondays 6.00 to 7.00 pm at the Lads Club on Hempshaw Lane.
